Walnuts Effect On Good Bacteria May Lead To Heart Health

An in depth study into walnuts show that its effect on the ‘good’ gut bacteria is associated with improvements in heart health.

The randomized, controlled trial, researchers found that eating walnuts eaten daily as part was associated with increases in certain bacteria that can help promote health. Those changes in gut bacteria were associated with improvements in some risk factors for heart disease.

This makes me ponder that other ‘gut healthy’ snacks may have similar effects on hearts health. This further shows the linkage of the body working as a unit rather than separate parts.
